Who We Are

The Morgan County Medical Center (MCMC) was established in 1974 by concerned residents who wanted to provide medical care in the county and surrounding areas.  We are a private, non-profit community healthcare center governed by a board of directors.  The board represents local business, government, healthcare, and other areas.

Who We Serve

For more than 40 years, Morgan County Medical Center has provided quality primary health care to the people living in and around Morgan County regardless of their ability to pay.  Family Practice doctors care for the entire family, from new born babies to great-grandparents.  Without the Morgan County Medical Center, many people would continue to rely on hospital emergency rooms for even the most basic care.  Now, our patients have a health care home and a place to establish a long-term relationship and receive regular preventive care.

What We Do

One of the best-kept secrets in Morgan County is that you do not have to have insurance or a lot of money to see an experienced family care provider.  Our patients receive quality healthcare to reduce the impact of diabetes, hypertension, asthma, depression and cancer.  We offer behavioral health services and specialize in wellness coaching and therapy for families and children.

Many sick individuals do not realize they can receive primary health care at an affordable cost.  Morgan County Medical Center is serving an ever-increasing number of paitents.  If a person needs primary care, including vital women’s health, cancer screenings and many other basic health services including x-ray and laboratory services they can visit Morgan County Medical Center.
